After getting quotes of $5,000 and $6,000 to install plantation shutters in our house we looked for a more affordable solution. Admittedly, these aren't in any way comparable to plantation shutters but they cost a mere fraction of the price and serve our purpose. Although we leave our blinds up most of the time it's nice to be able to obstruct the outside view from time-to-time like when we're leaving the house unoccupied for days or weeks. We've had a number of positive comments on them. You can obstruct from 50% of the view all the way up to 100% of it depending on how you pull the blinds down. Or you can leave them up and have your entire outside view. (These are NOT blackout shades).Customer service is amazing⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️They help you all the way through your order with measurements and other details.Love the product, great quality.I chose the outside mount because I decided to install an inside blackout to make sure my room is completely dark on weekends :)I would definitely recommend this seller and product to anyone.Fast shipping as well.The order came in about a week. I installed them today and they are just what I needed. Clean lines and modern looking. LOVE them!Mint color is spot on, very pretty, like spearmint. As other reviews mentioned the open part of shade is very transparent and I’ve had other brands which are a bit more obscured in open position. But if you’ve never had a zebra shade, you’re in for a treat. It’s the fastest switch from privacy to open - when the slats move it opens and closes the stripes. I won’t usually hesitate on the price being more, for the more prominent windows, as the mechanisms are very solid and smooth but this window is in my porch and one hundred times better than the ugly dirty vertical blinds that were there. The mint zebra is refreshing.Love the modern high end look but the ease of use and no need for dusting is what appeals to this busy mama. The instructions are very vag on installing but the pictures are clear on how to mount them. Weren’t all that bad to install. Once you find Centre and do you’re measuring and marking. It goes fast. Took me maybe a hour to a hour and a half to install 4. But I did not use the drywall mounting hardware on the three we installed above the window. I ended up just using drywall screws and just screwed them into the window header.The blinds fabric was NOT centred on roller during factory assembly, hence the steel roller shows over 3/4" on righ side of roller. The Left side is perfectly in alignment, but right side is way off, and the silver aluminium roller shows ugly and out of alignment. The blinds are going up and down perfectly vertically. The 3 inside window brackets, could do with a template to align 3 brackets. Other than that quick delivery and good value. Lets see how long they last. They wanted i think approx $13 Canadian for a pull push stick which should be included with blinds. Far too expensive for a plastic pull handle.I was a little hesitant to order because of the custom fees, as it worked out I didn’t have the added cost. I was a little concerned with light coming through in the morning as the blinds are in our bedroom, no worries there! Communication with the company has been second to none! I was so pleased with my purchase I have ordered 2 more. I also know in the near future I will be ordering more for the house. I highly recommend this company and their superb quality for the price.Oui c'est bien , j'aime bien.
